VeriFone
Verifone a leading provider of bankcard merchant service machines, is leading the ISO industry into Ethernet-based payments with an installation of the VeriFone Omni 3750 Internet Protocol (IP) payment terminal. By connecting the POS terminal to the existing DSL router, merchants can achieve an "always-on" connection that eliminates the normal dial up time and complete payment transactions in as little as four seconds.
"This new 'always-on' approach is exciting, because if we can shave three or four seconds off a transaction that is significant," said Gary Kistler, president of Kistler Foods Inc. "Our company endorses PMS and CCIMAS for payment processing and our relationship has been a very positive one. We already have DSL installed at our business, so when CCIMAS representatives brought this new concept to us we were very interested. Now we are testing it to see if it will benefit all of our member stores."

The VeriFone Omni 3750 IP is an all-in-one payment terminal featuring a built-in jam-proof printer and a PIN pad for debit card acceptance as well as both Ethernet and dial-up communications capability. this unit will accept offer gift cards, electronic check processing and other services to enhance the value of the Omni 3750 to its merchant customers. In the furture there are plans to make it compatible with prepaid phone cards adding to an already quality terminal for all merchants
